Homecoming Freedom Salute 2-149th Aviation Regiment

Captain Randall Stillinger, Commander of the Army 2-149th Aviation Regiment headquartered in Grand Prairie, TX, has given the honor of receiving the Fort Worth Airpower Foundation grant check of $10,000 to UTA ROTC cadet, John Manning.
The FWAPF check will cover a portion of the expense for a Freedom Salute to the soldiers of the 2-149th. 380 soldiers and 800 family members will celebrate and honor both the soldiers that came home, but also those who did not.
Cadet John Manning will graduate from the University of Texas - Arlington in December; receive his Commission and proceed to Fort Rutger, Alabama for his helicopter training - then onward and upward. Cadet Manning was honored to be the represetative chosen to receive this grant for his unit and expressed the appreciation of his Commander, Captain Randall Stillinger and all the men and women of the 2-149th.
